The Power of Conversational Hypnosis Review

Hi, David here and what you’re reading is my uncensored review of Igor Ledochowski’s Power of Conversational Hypnosis course. This is my personal review, if you’re simply looking for the Power of Conversational Hypnosis website, then click here to visit the site.

First things first, why am I writing this? Well when I was first looking at buying the Power of Conversational Hypnosis, I struggled to find any good reviews so now that I’ve bought it I thought I’d write one to help people who were in the situation I was in. Be warned though, this is an unbiased review, so if you just want to hear the good points of The Power of Conversational Hypnosis then this review may not be for you, but if you want my uncensored review then read on.

Firstly, what is covered in The Power of Conversational Hypnosis? Basically, A LOT. There is a lot of stuff in here, and it took me a while to digest it all. To get everything out of this course I had to listen to the CDs and read over the manual a few times; it’s kinda like watching a move you really like – each time you watch it you notice something new that you hadn’t noticed before. Now that’s not to say that I couldn’t start using this stuff quickly, in fact in my experience the more you use what you learn the faster you will cement what you’ve already learnt as well as learning new things faster. One of the cool things, is that Igor has included hypnotic examples to show you how it’s done, and what’s even cooler is that these “examples” use suggestions which actually help to learn the material faster. Click here to read more about this on their website.

Another thing I like about this course is that the information is well structured. It is broken down into sections that build on each other. This has 2 advantages. First, you can use things you learn straight away, so I didn’t have to sit down and listen to all 12 CDs before I could put the skills into practice. Second, because these sections are broken down further into tracks, I can easily re-listen to specific sections. (Some of the other hypnosis courses I have used have 1 or 2 ‘DVDs’ which were up to an hour each – With that kind of structure, it can be difficult to find the specific parts that I didn’t understand.)

Ok, the big question – does this stuff work? Short answer, Yes, plain and simple. The longer answer is yes, but don’t expect to be able become a master and be able to use every conversational hypnosis technique in the course overnight. This is like anything – the first time I used the bench press at the gym, I could only lift about half my bodyweight but now I am lifting almost double and like I mentioned earlier there is a lot of information in here and I had to listen to it a few times and then go away and practice a bit before I understood it fully. I didn’t mind this though because I found that even simple things have made a big difference. There are lots of little tricks that are maybe 3-4 sentences but are incredibly useful, and you can use them without having to fully learn conversational hypnosis. For example there is one particular strategy for winning any argument that I have used many times and has worked nearly every time.

So, what’s the bottom line:
Igor’s Power of Conversational Hypnosis is an information packed audio and PDF course, which has a lot of information. This is also it’s biggest downside, the sheer amount of tips and tools Igor has packed into here means it will probably take some time to understand, so if you want a “quick-fix” product then this probably isn’t for you, but if you’re like me and want a course that has helped me get more out of my life, then I strongly recommend that you click here to visit their website.

Igor Ledochowski and The Power of Conversational Hypnosis

Who is Igor Ledochowski? Igor is a world-renowned Master Hypnotist as well as NLP Trainer, Coach, Martial Artist and Lawyer. He is also the creator of the highly popular study course, “The Power of Conversational Hypnosis”. (In case you are unfamiliar with the course, click here to visit the official website).

During the nineties he attained an LLB in European Law and become a solicitor after graduating from Law School. In order to help his study, Igor become interested accelerated learning tools. This then led to Ericksonian Hypnosis, a form of hypnosis based on the work of Milton Erickson.

After law school he continued his research into Hypnosis, training with some of the worlds leading Hypnotists and eventually created a system to covertly hypnotise subjects, which became the basis of his study courses.

This “undercover” style of hypnosis, called “Conversational hypnosis” allows you to hypnotise people simply by having a conversation with them (as the name suggests) and allows you to influence them to do nearly anything you want without them even knowing.

Today, Igor has refined his system and teaches it at Master Classes around the world, training members of the public as well as professional hypnotists. Many people also choose to learn from him by studying his books and audio courses. The most popular of these is The Power of Conversational Hypnosis which teaches:

  • How to get almost anyone to say “Yes”
  • How to command new respect
  • How to negotiate with total success
  • How to Influence colleagues and much more.

Hypnosis Course – What is it?

This seems like a silly question – what is a hypnosis course, obviously it’s a course in hypnosis. The real question here is, what kind of hypnosis are you looking for?

In this article, I will outline a few of the different types of hypnosis. Note that each uses similar principles but in different ways. So without further ado:

Clinical Hypnosis / Hypnotherapy
This usually involves a one-on-one scenario with a patient and a hypnotist and is mainly used for things like curing phobias, stopping smoking, losing weight and so on. Unless you are interested in hypnosis in general or in becoming a hypnotherapist, I wouldn’t recommend learning hypnotherapy, This isn’t to say it’s bad or there’s anything wrong with it but it is generally not the most practical style of hypnosis to learn for most people.

Covert Hypnosis
Covert hypnosis usually involves using specific language styles and non-verbal cues (note this is the tip of the iceberg, in reality there is much more) in order to persuade, build rapport etc. You can think of this as everyday hypnosis that you can use when talking to your parents, friends, boyfriend / girlfriend, co-workers etc.

Be aware that there are many misconceptions about hypnosis (especially covert hypnosis), one of the biggest ones is that you can get anyone to do whatever you want, but this is simply not true. You cannot hypnotise anyone to do something they would not do normally (if it is against their morals for example). This is why hypnosis works so well for things like helping people to stop smoking, because they WANT to stop smoking and hypnosis is just a tool to help them.
